"The Point"
A look at "The Point". To the left is north beach and the Labrador Current and to the right is south beach
and the Gulf Stream Current. The rough water straight ahead is the Diamond Shoals and the "Graveyard
of the Atlantic". "The Point" is one of the most popular fishing spots on the island and on fall and spring
weekends becomes a parking lot with vehicles parked 4 or 5 deep.
