The Road
North
The first indication of
trouble. Since we never have traffic jambs on Hatteras
Island, I was curious as to how much time it would take to get through this
and
how far from the problen I was, so I noted the time as 12:38 pm and I set
the
odometer to zero. I also decided to document it with pictures. Notice the
water on
the road and the bare sand on the right and left of the road. The ocean is
to the left.
